Paying for care

Clear options. Honest conversations. No surprises.

Every family’s situation is different. We help you understand possible payment paths before care begins.

Payment pathways

Start with the option that best fits your family.

Availability, eligibility, authorization, and network participation can vary. Our team will verify current details with you.

Long-term care insurance

Some policies reimburse eligible non-medical home care. We can provide service documentation and information requested by the policyholder.

  • Coverage depends on the individual policy
  • Waiting periods and benefit triggers may apply
  • Families should confirm requirements with the insurer

Veterans benefits

Veterans and surviving spouses may qualify for VA Aid & Attendance benefits, which can help cover the cost of in-home care. We can walk your family through the process.

  • Aid & Attendance may offset in-home care costs
  • Available to qualifying veterans and surviving spouses
  • We can guide you through the application steps

Workers’ comp & auto insurance

If your loved one needs care because of a workplace injury or an auto accident, their insurance carrier may cover in-home support. We work with multiple carriers.

  • Coverage for workplace-injury recovery
  • Coverage after a motor vehicle accident
  • We coordinate documentation with the carrier

ALTCS / Medicaid

Solace Hill is in the process of becoming an approved ALTCS Medicaid provider in Arizona. Please contact us for the most current status on Medicaid acceptance before making plans around it.

  • ALTCS approval is pending — not yet available
  • Eligibility and service authorization are required
  • Network status may differ by health plan
  • Call us for the current program status

Family-funded care

Adult children and other family members often share the cost of care or coordinate a schedule that blends paid support with family availability.

  • Care can focus on the highest-need times
  • Respite reduces burnout for family caregivers
  • Plans can change as family capacity changes
What’s the cost?

Transparent, straightforward pricing.

Solace Hill offers service tiers matched to your loved one’s actual level of need — you are never asked to pay for care you don’t use. All visits have a 4-hour minimum, and 24-hour and live-in care rates are available.

Your Care Specialist reviews pricing in detail during your free consultation and in-home assessment. There are no hidden fees, and nothing is billed before a service agreement is signed.
