Overnight, 24-hour & live-in
These arrangements are designed individually after assessment. Staffing pattern, sleep expectations, level of supervision, and applicable rules affect the structure and rate.
Medicaid-funded scenarios
Straight fee-for-service Medicaid may cover authorized services for eligible members. ALTCS health-plan/MCO contracts remain pending. Member responsibility and service hours follow the authorization and program rules.
No surprise start: Before services begin, the family receives a service agreement that identifies the planned schedule, rate or authorization, responsibilities, and cancellation terms.

Companion support and complex personal-care needs may require different caregiver skills and planning.
Schedule
Daytime, overnight, weekends, holidays, continuous coverage, and short-notice needs affect staffing.
Payment source
